Ladies Auxiliary is a group of women who take responsibility for helping Veterans and their Families. Some of the ways we do this is by raising funds by hosting Bazaars and catering food at private functions. If you’re interested in joining, we meet every second Wednesday of the month at the Legion. |
Please note: Each Branch sets their own membership rates and these rates may change year to year.
"Early Bird" Campaign starts September 1 running until November 30. Renew during that time and your name goes into a draw for a free membership for the following year!
Membership fees are due January 1 of every year.
The initiation is usually held at the General Meeting which is the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium. It is requested that new members show up at 6:45 PM to be checked in with the Membership Chairman.
If you wish to be INITIATED before this date, a special "one-on-one" initiation can be arranged. The Membership Chairman is usually at the Legion on Saturdays during the Meat Draw which is held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You may look up the Chairman and the initiation can be done in about 10 minutes.
Otherwise, you may arrange an appointment through the office to be initiated on a weekday. The regulations state that you CANNOT receive your new membership card, door card, or vote at General Meetings until you have been initiated (voting applies to Ordinary, Associate, and Affiliate Voting members only).
Dress for initiation is casual; however, we request that neither blue jeans, short skirts, nor unsightly attire be worn. Failure to comply with the dress code could result in your initiation being postponed to a later General Meeting
